Finance performance

From accounts to a decision-ready view of your business

Focus the management pack on cash, operating performance and the decisions ahead.

A useful management pack answers a small number of clear questions: how is the business performing, where is cash moving and what requires a decision?

Combine financial results with the operating measures that explain them. Compare actual performance with budget and prior periods. Distinguish recurring results from exceptional items and explain material changes in plain language.

Include working capital, cash forecasts and the actions management has agreed. Consistent definitions and timely reporting make the information more useful than a larger pack produced too late.

The appropriate reporting framework depends on the size, sector and circumstances of the business.
